Our work begins with proper sampling preparation, including identifying suitable sampling points, reviewing operating conditions, planning safe access, confirming sample requirements and ensuring that the right containers, labels, preservation methods and documentation are available before collection begins. SICL supports separator, wellhead, stock tank and other surface sampling activities where required, while maintaining strong chain-of-custody control from field collection to laboratory delivery. This helps protect sample integrity, reduce contamination risks and ensure that results can be trusted by reservoir, production, process and operations teams.
Through our surface sampling and analysis support, SICL helps clients turn samples into practical technical insight. We coordinate laboratory testing and reporting for PVT-related fluid behaviour, crude quality checks and crude assay information such as density, API gravity, viscosity, BS&W, sulphur, salt, wax tendency, pour point, asphaltene behaviour and other important properties depending on the project requirement. These results support better decisions on production optimisation, crude handling, blending, export quality, refinery suitability, process performance and asset planning.
